Dr. Mary Evers, D.O., FAOCD

Dr. Mary Evers is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology and founder of Texas Dermatology Center. She performs adult and pediatric dermatology and surgical dermatology. 

Dr. Mary Evers was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa. She attended the University of Northern Iowa and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She received her osteopathic medical degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Evers then completed a traditional internship at Richmond Heights University Hospitals in Richmond Heights, Ohio. Following internship, she completed a dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve/ University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio. During her final year of residency, Dr. Evers served as administrative chief resident. 

During her time at Case Western Reserve/ University Hospitals of Cleveland, Dr. Evers researched the prevalence of skin infections in cancer patients. She also researched and published on a variety of medical dermatology conditions including allergic contact dermatitis, nodular amyloidosis, and pemphigus. She has been a speaker on medical dermatology cases both at the local and national level. Dr. Evers continues to have a special interest in skin infections and medical dermatology. 

Dr. Evers is married (to a native Texan) and has one son. They are proud to call Liberty Hill their home. In her free time, Dr. Evers enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and traveling.
